Was that POWERFUL or WHAT!?
One of the things that Dr. Tony Evans challenged us each to do was to view this powerful time of fellowship, learning, and healing as the "huddle" in a football game. We gathered together with other men 'on our team' and then we broke that huddle. Where do you think you go after a huddle? Right, to the line to hike the ball and put into play what we planned in the huddle!
Men, everything we learned yesterday, all the high emotions and "fired up" feelings we got are worth exactly nothing if we don't go DO SOMETHING with them.
So, I challenge each of us... let's go DO SOMETHING with our renewed faith. We don't dress well by faith, speak to others by faith, or even attend church by faith; we WALK by faith. Let us not be Christians in name only but let us walk in His footsteps. Rise each morning in prayer and reading the Word, affect your home for the Lord, let that flow to your extended family, take that faith to work with you and let it infect your business dealings and labor, and as we each do these daily things - living out our faith - we will see our schools, communities, state and nation change.
